A devastating explosion occurred at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Vetalapalem village of Kakinada district, Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday afternoon. According to official reports, the blast resulted in the deaths of at least 18 workers, while six others sustained life-threatening injuries. The incident took place around 2:00 PM when more than 20 employees were present inside the facility.
