Another Indian student is reported to have been shot in the war between Russia and Ukraine. It is being told that the student is admitted to the hospital in Kyiv, where he is battling for life and death amidst critical condition. Union Minister General VK Singh said that on Friday morning there was news of an Indian student being shot in Kyiv.

General VK Singh said that, we are trying to evacuate as many Indians as possible with minimum damage. In fact, two Indian students have lost their lives so far amid the Ukraine crisis.

Ukraine holds Indian students hostage

Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a big disclosure in the midst of the war. He said that Ukraine has taken about 3,000 Indian students hostage. We will do our best to expel Indian students. The Russian military is not attacking residential areas. Ukraine has deployed troops and tanks in these areas. Only a fascist can do this. Putin said that the Ukrainian army is not letting foreigners go. Russian soldiers have freed the hostages.

Airlift being done via Poland, Romania and Hungary

Amidst the deteriorating situation in Ukraine's capital Kyiv, an appeal has already been made by the Indian Embassy to leave Kyiv. Meanwhile, Indian students trapped in Ukraine are being brought back to India via Poland, Romania, Hungary. For this, Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and General VK Singh have been sent to neighboring countries of Ukraine under Operation Ganga by the Government of India.
