Announcement for mothers and sisters

He said that a big announcement has been made for the mothers and sisters of Delhi. This is not a small thing. This will be the world's largest women empowerment program. This is easy to say, but not easy to do. Women who do not earn have to lend a helping hand to their husbands, sons and relatives at home for small things. Now Rs 1000 will be given every month for women above 18 years of age. This is a very big thing. This will also cost a lot. But Delhi government is working for this.

Who will get the benefits?

CM Kejriwal further said that the eligibility to avail the benefits of this scheme has also been decided. He said that the age of the woman or girl should be more than 18 years, the woman should not be availing the benefit of government pension, should not be doing a government job and should not be an income tax payer. Women can also avail the benefits of this scheme by giving self-declaration. He said that this process will start after the elections.
