This is the full statement of CM Himanta

Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, the image of a Gandhi scion should be like Mahatma Gandhi or Sardar Patel and not that of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussain. CM Himanta said, now I have seen that his (Rahul Gandhi) face has also changed. Changing face is not a bad thing. If you want to change your face, then do it like Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru or Gandhiji, but why is your face becoming like Saddam Hussain.

Further attacking Rahul Gandhi, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, Rahul Gandhi is not even visible in Gujarat. These days have come as a guest. The election in Himachal was over but he did not go there either. In the states where there are no elections, Rahul Gandhi goes there. CM said, he (Rahul Gandhi) does not go there where there are elections because he is afraid of losing. They know that I will lose wherever I go, I am not expected to win.

Let us tell you that for the assembly elections in Gujarat, votes will be cast in two phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on 89 seats on December 1 and in the second phase on December 2, voting will be held on 93 seats. There are 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started on September 7, will reach Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain on December 1. In this journey, Rahul Gandhi will cover 12 states and 3500 km. The yatra will enter Rajasthan on 3 December.
