WTC Final / Australia's innings declared - target of 444 in front of India

WTC Final: In the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC), India has got a target of 444 runs to win. The Australian team declared its second innings at a score of 270/8. Wicketkeeper Alex Carey returned unbeaten on 66, while Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Starc scored an identical 41 each. From India, Ravindra Jadeja got three wickets, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav got two wickets each.

In the ongoing match at The Oval ground in London, India was all out for 296 runs in the first innings, while Australia scored 469 runs in the first innings.

India-Australia mixed performance

Both the teams put up a mixed performance in this session. In this, Australia scored 78 runs, while India also got two successes. Indian bowlers dismissed Marnus Labuschagne, who returned unbeaten on the third day, for 41, while Cameron Green was dismissed for 25. Ravindra Jadeja got the third wicket.
