In fact, the layers of the Toshakhana controversy began to unfold after the order of the Lahore High Court in which the court had ordered the records of the Toshakhana gift from 2002 till now to be made public.

The 466-page record related to Toshakhana has become public and has been uploaded on the website of the Cabinet Division. According to the list, gold guns, watches, carpets and many luxury items have been received as gifts from abroad.

According to the records made public, former PM Imran Khan kept a gold watch worth 8.5 crore Pakistani rupees, a pair of cufflinks worth 56 lakhs, a pen worth 15 lakhs and a ring worth 85 lakhs – by paying only Rs 2 crore. He didn't even give money for so many gifts.

Information related to Asif Ali Zardari has also come to the fore in the records. The former President bought a BMW 760 Li car worth Rs 5.7 crore and a Toyota Lexus LX 470 car worth Rs 5 crore for just Rs 1.6 crore. Bought another car worth Rs 2.7 crores only for Rs 40 lakhs.

Information related to Nawaz Sharif and his wife

In 2013, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif kept a Rolex watch worth Rs 11 lakh, cufflinks and pen worth Rs 25 thousand and four commemorative coins of Kuwait Central Bank worth Rs 15 thousand by paying only Rs 24 thousand.

Nawaz Sharif's wife Kulsoom Nawaz kept a bracelet worth Rs 1.27 crore, necklace and earrings worth Rs 4.16 crore in 2016. Kulsoom Nawaz had deposited Rs 1.8 crore for this.
