India vs Bangladesh ODI Series: The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Bangladesh will be played on Sunday, 4 December. Both the teams are making preparations for this match to be held at Shere-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Many veterans of Team India are returning to the 50-over format, including names like regular captain Rohit Sharma, dashing batsman Virat Kohli, KL Rahul. Meanwhile, Bangladesh's director of cricket Akram Khan has taken a dig at the visiting team.

'Bangladesh will win'

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director (Cricket Operations) Akram Khan has said that the team led by Rohit Sharma has big names but Bangladesh can win in home conditions. The special thing is that a three-match ODI series was played between the two countries in the year 2015, when India had to face a 1-2 defeat. Akram Khan is dreaming big about the upcoming series in view of the same.

Will domestic conditions benefit?

During a press conference in Mirpur, Akram Khan said, 'India is a very good team but we have the advantage of home conditions. Our players have the upper hand here. If we play effectively, if we can fully utilize the individual abilities of our players, then we can do better and be successful. Bangladesh has always performed strongly at home and most of the victories this team has got in the matches played in its host. Because of this, Akram has high hopes.

Indian squad for ODI series: Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Shahbaz Ahmed , Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Sen
