This information was released through an official notification by the Bihar government.
CM Samrat Choudhary to Oversee 29 Departments
Samrat Choudhary, who was sworn in as the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar on April 15, has kept a total of 29 departments under his direct supervision. These include key sectors such as Home, Health, and Agriculture.
On top of that, any departments not specifically allocated to other ministers will remain with the Chief Minister.
Deputy CM Vijay Choudhary Assigned 10 Portfolios
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Choudhary has been entrusted with 10 departments, covering essential areas like Education and Rural Development.
8 Departments for Deputy CM Vijendra Prasad Yadav
The second Deputy Chief Minister, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, has been given the responsibility of 8 departments. His portfolio includes critical sectors such as Finance and Energy.
Samrat Choudhary took the oath of office on April 15, succeeding Nitish Kumar, who served as the Chief Minister of Bihar for 20 years.
