Uttarakhand | The BJP leadership in Uttarakhand has played its last election bet by making Pushkar Singh Dhami the Chief Minister. Tirath Singh Rawat has been removed due to not being able to hold the by-election, in fact the party did not make any effort for that. He feared that Tirath Singh might not lose the election. In the election year, Tirath Singh Rawat's controversial statement, his loose attitude and lack of strong hold on the government were also a major reason for the change of leadership. It is believed that due to this bet of BJP, the maths of opposition parties can be disturbed.

In the strategy made by the BJP leadership for Uttarakhand earlier this year, it was considered necessary to remove Trivendra Singh Rawat due to dissatisfaction and opposition within the party, but Tirath Singh Rawat, who was brought in as his substitute, did not live up to the expectations. That is why within four months Tirath Singh Rawat had to lose his chair. Since Rawat did not get much chance to run the government. During this he struggled with Kumbh and Corona. In such a situation, no questions arose about his work, but his own statement and loose attitude were more responsible.

The impact of the new team of the union

In the first week of May, when the results of five assembly elections were announced, the BJP once again reviewed its future election preparations. Both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand were included in this. Change of leadership in Uttarakhand was considered necessary and for that the party started looking for a new leader in the leadership. Meanwhile, a new team had also arrived in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and after its advice, the name of Pushkar Singh Dhami emerged. Dhami, however, does not have government experience, as he is yet to become a minister. Dhami, a second-time MLA, is known for his aggressive attitude on the road. The party needs his similar attitude during elections in the coming six months.

union's consent

According to sources, the consent of a big leader of the Sangh has also been important in this. Former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who is considered to be Dhami's political guru, has a different influence in the state and Dhami can also benefit from it. However, factionalism within the BJP could create problems for them. One will have ministers senior to him in his government and secondly he will have to coordinate with very senior people in the organization. In such a situation, they may need the help of the central leadership again and again.

was afraid of spoiling the strategy

According to sources, Tirath Singh Rawat was fully prepared to follow the instructions of the party high command and contest the assembly elections, but the central leadership feared that he might lose the election, which could spoil the strategy of the entire assembly election. Somewhere Tirath Singh Rawat himself was not completely convinced. During Rawat's three-day stay in Delhi, once the mind of the by-election was made, but later the decision to change was taken. The party leadership was also afraid that during the election, Tirath Singh would not create a new trouble by giving some strange statement of Rawat. Even before this, he remained in the discussion more than his statements.
