Virudhunagar: It is generally observed that the length of the tongue is 8.5 cms for males and 7.9 cms for females, but some have longer than normal tongues. At just 20 years old, K Praveen, a native of Thiruthangal in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, has been included in the Indian Book of Records. Officials confirmed that his tongue measured 10.8 cm.

His tongue was measured from front to back on February 26, 2021. Currently, the title of world's longest tongue (male) is held by Nick Stoberl of Salinas, California, USA. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, in 2012, Nick's tongue measured 10.1 cm.

He can not only touch his nose with his tongue but can almost touch his eye with it. He is trying hard to touch her eyelashes with his tongue.
