Petrol-Diesel Price | Giving a big relief to the general public, the Central Government on Saturday reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs.8 and Rs.6 respectively. After this, the price of petrol will be reduced by Rs 9.5 per liter and that of diesel by Rs 7 per liter.

Apart from this, the central government announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder (up to 12 cylinders) to more than 9 crore beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that this will help our mothers and sisters.

What is the rate now: The price of petrol in the national capital Delhi is Rs 105.41 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 96.67 per liter. However, now after the reduction in excise duty, the estimated price of petrol in Delhi on Sunday will be Rs 95.91 per liter. At the same time, if we talk about diesel, then the estimated price will be Rs 89.67 per liter.

There was protest: In fact, apart from increasing the prices of petrol and diesel in the last few months, the prices of LPG have also increased continuously. Due to this, the budget of the people was getting affected badly. In view of this, all the experts and opposition parties were demanding reduction in fuel prices.

Diwali was also relieved: On the eve of Diwali, the Government of India had announced a reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel. Excise duty on petrol and diesel was reduced by Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively yesterday.

Important announcement on Ujjwala scheme: Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that we will give a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder (up to 12 cylinders) to more than 9 crore beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. This will help our mothers and sisters.

The costliest petrol in the country was Rs 123.46 per liter in Parbhani in Maharashtra, while diesel at Rs 107.61 per liter in Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, the cheapest petrol in Port Blair was Rs 91.45 and diesel was Rs 85.83 per liter.

At the same time, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi is Rs 105.41 per liter and diesel price today is Rs 96.67 per liter. Petrol is selling at Rs 120.51 a liter and diesel at Rs 104.77 in Mumbai. However, now after the reduction in excise duty, the prices of petrol and diesel will be reduced across the country.
