Chaturmas will end on Devotthani Ekadashi on November 14. Now after July 15, marriages will take place only in November.

Marriage Muhurta on 11th and 15th July this month

Virendra Nanda, the priest of Sector-19 Sanatan Dharma Mandir, said that earlier this year itself, due to the setting of Guru, Shukra, there were less Muhurta for weddings. Some marriages took place in March, then curfew was imposed again from April. Restrictions were relieved in June. So now after a few days Chaturmas is about to start. As soon as it starts, all auspicious work including marriage, Janeu Mundan, Griha Pravesh, beginning of new work are banned for four months, which starts on Devotthan Ekadashi. Ravi Pushya Yoga is falling on 11th July. Some people do marriage and other auspicious work during this period too, but according to the scriptures, auspicious work is considered taboo during this period. Marriage Muhurta is also on 15th July. After this, marriage Muhurta will be available in November.

15 muhurtas left for marriage

This year only 15 muhurtas are left for weddings. There are two Muhurtas in July, seven in November and six in December. At the same time, Venus and Jupiter will again set in the year 2022. In the beginning of the new year, i.e. in January and February, only ten marriage muhurtas will be available.
