Khawaja Asif / China was providing intelligence about India's air defence - Pakistan's DM's confession

Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has admitted that China had helped Pakistan during the Indo-Pak war. He said that Beijing shared intelligence related to India's air defence system. Asif described it as strategic cooperation and general intelligence sharing.

Khawaja Asif: Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has made a sensational revelation and admitted that China had provided intelligence and military information to Pakistan during the recent conflict with India. In an interview, he said that during the war, Beijing had shared important information related to India's air defense system with Islamabad.

Asif said, "Pakistan is on high alert since the short war with India. It has been more than a month and we have not reduced our vigilance. Strategic partner countries like us share intelligence information among themselves. This is a normal process."

He further said that there are common threats between the two countries and hence sharing information obtained from satellites or any kind of intelligence input is a part of normal strategic behavior. He also admitted that China also has strategic inconveniences from India, and that is why both the countries cooperate with each other regarding military needs.

This statement has once again exposed the strategic equations hidden in the India-China-Pakistan triangular relationship. This confession of Khawaja Asif is not just a confession of Pakistan, but it also raises questions on regional power balance and geopolitical equations.

There has been no official response from India on this statement yet, but Khawaja Asif's confession has given rise to a new diplomatic and security debate.
