China has been in discussion many times around the world regarding the atrocities on Uighur Muslims in China. However, China has never made any public statement on this. Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping told how China should be a Muslim. Not only this, he has ordered the administration to try to mold Islam according to the traditions and society of China.

Jinping arrived in Xinjiang on a four-day tour

In fact, Chinese President Xi Jinping, who arrived in Xinjiang region of China, has said many things about Chinese Muslims. This is the same Xinjiang where the largest number of Uighur Muslims are found. According to Chinese media reports, Jinping has reached Xinjiang on his four-day visit. Jinping has told his officials here that Islam should adapt to China and adopt a socialist structure.

Emphasis on increasing commitment to China

Jinping has emphasized on promoting exchanges, dialogue and integration between different ethnic groups, including promoting strong community spirit for China. He said that this community should increase its commitment to China. Simultaneously they should work to establish a dialogue with other communities. Xi stressed the need to improve governance in religious affairs and to realize the healthy development of religions.

Must be communist party friendly

He also said that Chinese Muslims should adapt to the socialist society being pursued by the ruling Communist Party of China. It also said that the common religious needs of the people professing the religion should be ensured and they should be united closer to the party and the government.

For the past few years, Chinese President Xi Jinping has been trying to adapt Islam to the policies of the ruling Communist Party. It has also come to the fore several times that Uighur Muslims have been mass imprisoned and tortured in camps in China. However, China has consistently denied allegations of human rights violations against Muslims.
