Rajasthan Politics: On Friday, about one and a half months after becoming the Chief Minister, CM Bhajanlal Sharma met former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at her official residence. CM Bhajanlal stayed in Raje's residence for about 35 minutes. Many political meanings are being inferred from this meeting between the two. The most interesting thing is the timing of their meeting. PM Modi came to Jaipur on Thursday. Former CM Vasundhara Raje was also present at the airport along with CM Bhajanlal Sharma.

Now, CM Bhajanlal Sharma's arrival to meet Vasundhara Raje the next day is also being considered as an indication of some message received from Delhi. This is because after becoming CM, Bhajanlal Sharma did not go to meet Raje even as a courtesy.

Try to keep the relationship normal

CM Bhajanlal Sharma's meeting with Vasundhara Raje is being seen as an attempt to normalize mutual relations, because ever since Bhajanlal Sharma became the Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje had completely distanced herself from government and party programs. Raje is continuously expressing her displeasure by not attending programs. Raje did not even attend the cabinet expansion of Bhajan Lal government, dinner program with PM Modi's MLAs and party officials, and the meeting of select leaders organized regarding preparations for the Lok Sabha elections.

Now Lok Sabha elections are ahead. In such a situation, Vasundhara Raje's displeasure may prove costly for the party. The delay in taking decisions since the formation of the government is giving negative image to the Bhajan Lal government. The government's floor management proved to be weak on the first day in the Assembly also. The minister could not answer the opposition's questions properly. Whereas the MLAs of Vasundhara group remained in a neutral role in this situation. In such a situation, Sadhana of Raje has become very important for the party.

Raje did not get any responsibility even in Lok Sabha elections

Vasundhara Raje is among the senior and charismatic leaders of BJP. She is the only face in the state BJP who could have handled the Lok Sabha elections in the best possible way, but the party has not yet given her any responsibility for the Lok Sabha elections.

The party has divided the 25 Lok Sabha seats of the state into 8 clusters and appointed their cluster in-charges, but in this too no responsibility has been given to any leader supporting Raje.
