Poonch Attack: A terrorist attack took place on an army vehicle in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Five soldiers were martyred in the attack. The terrorist organization People's Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) has taken responsibility for this. It is being told that the connection of PAFF is with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. This organization was discussed for the first time when Article 370 was removed in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.

According to a report, the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and Pakistani leader Masood Azhar is the founder of the People's Anti-Fascist Front. In this organization, the responsibility of operation in POK and Kashmir has been given to Mufti Azgar Kashmiri. Masood Azhar's second brother Mufti Abdul Rauf Azhar is the head of all operations related to the organization. At the same time, Mohammad Hasan is the spokesperson and brother Maulana Talha Saif is the head of the propaganda wing. This organization emerged rapidly in 2019 and then started carrying out terrorist incidents one after the other.

Opposition to every activity of the government in Kashmir

Since the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir, the organization has threatened the government and the army several times. In 2020, PAFF released a video threatening to protest against the establishment of Israel's Center of Excellence in Kashmir. Furious with the G-20 meeting to be held in Jammu and Kashmir, the PAFF had also issued a warning regarding this. Similarly, this organization has issued several warnings against the government and the army.

Many attacks were carried out in Jammu and Kashmir

This is not the first attack on the Indian Army which has been carried out by PAFF. This organization got BJP leader Rakesh Pandit murdered in June 2021. Only after this it came under the target of the government. The organization attacked the army one after the other. On 11 August 2021, the army was attacked in Rajouri district. After this, on 11 October 2021, Indian soldiers were targeted in Poonch district, in which 9 soldiers were martyred.

On October 3, 2022, the terrorists of the organization entered the house of Hemant Lohia, Director General of Police (Jail), Jammu and Kashmir and killed him. This matter pertains to the time when Home Minister Amit Shah was in Jammu and Kashmir.

PAFF Banned

The Ministry of Home Affairs banned PAFF in January this year after several terrorist incidents and involvement in them. The ministry described the organization as a threat to Jammu and Kashmir, leaders, security forces and the country. In the latest attack, PAFF members attacked an army vehicle with a grenade. Firing on the vehicle from three sides. Three terrorists of the organization were involved in this terrorist activity.
