Despite being given notice twice before this, Maman Khan had not appeared before the SIT of Haryana Police.

Does the police have solid evidence against Maman Khan?

Maman Khan will be presented in Nuh District Court on Friday i.e. tomorrow. According to sources, Haryana Police has strong evidence regarding Maman Khan's involvement in the conspiracy of Nuh violence and to investigate this, Maman Khan was called twice to join the investigation, but both the times Maman Khan failed in the investigation. Did not attend and had approached the Punjab-Haryana High Court to avoid arrest.

The next date of hearing in the Punjab-Haryana High Court in this case was October 19 and before that, to avoid arrest, Maman Khan had the option of going to the lower court and obtaining anticipatory bail, but the Haryana Police did not give him this opportunity. Gave it and arrested him before that.

MLA Maman Khan made this demand from the court

Firozpur Jhirka MLA Maman Khan, while requesting the court, had claimed that he was being implicated in this case, although he was not even in Nuh on the day the violence broke out. The MLA's lawyer told the media after the hearing that Maman Khan had just learned that his name was in the FIR. Maman Khan requested that all cases related to the violence in Nuh should be transferred to a Special Investigation Team (SIT). On this the government lawyer said that the SIT is already investigating the case.

SIT called twice for questioning, but Maman Khan did not go.

Earlier, Nuh police had asked MLA Maman Khan twice to join the investigation, but he did not appear. He did not comply with the police summons for August 31, saying he had viral fever. In his petition, Maman Khan said that from July 26 to August 1, he was at his home in Gurugram and not in Nuh.

61 FIRs, 280 people arrested in Nuh violence

On July 31, violence broke out during the procession in Nuh, Haryana, in which rioters attacked many shops and civilians. Now the police is identifying the accused in this case with the help of video. So far, the police have registered 61 FIRs in the violence, while 280 people have been arrested. Other accused are also being identified.
