Covid-19 India | The number of active cases of corona in the country has reached a low of 83 days. At present, the total active cases are 6,12,868. Earlier on April 1, there were 6,10,929 active cases. Since then the figures had increased continuously and on 9 May it had crossed 37 lakhs. However, since then there has been a downward trend and compared to that peak, the number of active cases has come down by up to 80 percent. In the last 24 hours, 51,667 new cases have been found, while 64,527 people have recovered from Corona. On the one hand, this situation has arisen due to the reduction in new cases, speedy recovery and the pace of vaccination.

This is the 43rd consecutive day when the number of people recovering is more than new cases. Corona vaccines were administered to 60.73 lakh people across the country on Thursday. With this, the figure of corona vaccination is approaching 31 crores. So far 2,91,28,267 people have won their battle with Corona in the country. With this, the recovery rate in the country has increased rapidly to 96.66%. Apart from this, the weekly positivity rate has also come down sharply to 3 percent. Not only this, the daily positivity rate has come down from less than 3 percent to 2.98%.

Let us tell you that the second wave of corona in the country is rapidly sloping. But now the concerns have increased due to the Delta Plus variant. Its cases have increased in states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, the danger has increased once again and due to this new variant, a third wave of corona is being feared. It has also been claimed in many reports that this variant can become a victim even after vaccines. In such a situation, it has become necessary to follow the corona protocol even now.
