Maruti Suzuki Brezza: 15,445 units sold in September 2022Maruti Suzuki has sold 15,445 units of the new Brezza compact SUV in September 2022 as against 1,874 units in the same month last year. Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Brezza 2022 in India, which was a major upgrade almost six years after the outgoing model was launched. The Brezza 2022 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. The company has already received 45,000 bookings. The Brezza 2022 SUV has been launched with six single-tone colors and three dual-tone color options. Dual-tone options include Brave Khaki (Pearl White Roof), Sizzling Red (Black Roof), Splendid Silver (Black Roof).Tata Nexon: 14,518 units sold in September 2022Tata sold 14,518 Nexon SUVs in September 2022, compared to 9,211 units in the same month last year. The Tata Nexon was the first made-in-India vehicle to receive a 5-star rating from the Global NCAP. The Nexon was crash-tested by the agency and the SUV scored 16.06 points out of a maximum of 17 points for the adult occupant protection category, giving the Tata Nexon a 5-star rating. Tata Nexon scored 25 out of a possible 49 in the Child Occupant Protection category. Safety features of the Nexon include dual airbags at the front, ABS with EBD and others.Hyundai Creta: 12,866 units sold in September 2022The company has sold 12,866 units of Creta in September 2022 as compared to 8,193 units sold in the same month last year. The Hyundai Creta is available in 5 variants - E, EX, S, SX, and SX (O) with three engine options - 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre VGT diesel and 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol. The naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines (the first two) are capable of producing 113 Bhp of power and 144 Nm and 250 Nm of peak torque, respectively. The turbo petrol variant, on the other hand, churns out 138 Bhp and 242 Nm of torque.Tata Punch: 12,251 units sold in September 2022Tata Motors sold 12,251 units in September 2022, making it the 8th best selling model in the country. Offered in both MT and AMT transmission options, the Punch is India's safest subcompact SUV with a 5 star GNCAP rating. The car is available in 8 colors as well as dual tone options.
