PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah keep an eye on the situation

In view of the very dangerous form of the storm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have held 2 big meetings in the last 2 days. On 23 May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and officials of the Disaster Management Authority. He asked for evacuation of the people living in the stormy areas. Later, Home Minister Amit Shah held an important meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday. In this meeting, apart from evacuating people from the storm-affected areas, it was also discussed to save 24 oxygen plants which are in the storm affected areas. Last year, the Amfan storm caused havoc in West Bengal and besides the Center, the state government is trying to minimize the devastation in the Yas storm this time.

Yas storm challenge is bigger for government than Tau-Te

Actually, the challenge of Cyclone Yaas is much bigger for the government than the Tau-Te storm. This challenge is about the oxygen plant. During this period of corona infection in the country, oxygen is sent to different parts of the country from the oxygen plants of West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. If these plants are damaged in a storm, the oxygen problem in the country may start once again.
