According to news agency ANI, Mamta Banerjee said, 'PM Narendra Modi called a meeting. I was not aware of this and during this time I had a meeting in Digha. I submitted the report to him and demanded Rs 20,000 crore help. 10,000 crore was sought for the development of Digha and an equal amount for the development of Sundarbans.

Mamta Banerjee said that I left the meeting after getting permission from PM Narendra Modi. He said, 'I told PM Narendra Modi that I have a meeting with the officials of the state government. After that I took permission from him and got out of the meeting. Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee said that she will take stock of the damage caused by the Yas storm in the state on Saturday. Mamta Banerjee tweeted, 'After the review meetings in Sagar and Hingalganj, I met PM Narendra Modi in Kalaikunda and told him about the situation after the cyclone in Bengal. I also handed him a report regarding the loss in the state. Now I will hold a review meeting of relief and rescue work in Digha. '

First Mamta made her wait, then left as soon as she arrived

According to an ANI report, Mamta Banerjee and her Chief Secretary arrived at PM Narendra Modi's meeting with a delay of 30 minutes. Not only this, after making Narendra Modi wait for half an hour, Mamata Banerjee arrived and submitted some reports to the PM and left the meeting. Mamta Banerjee said that she had some more meetings. However, during the meeting of PM Narendra Modi, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar was present. Prior to the meeting in Bengal, PM Narendra Modi also conducted an aerial survey to take stock of the situation. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present during this period.

PMO announced help for Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi reached Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar on Friday morning. After reviewing the situation there, he had a review meeting with CM Naveen Patnaik. The central government has announced to give 500 crore rupees for Odisha and the same amount for Bengal and Jharkhand. The PMO has said that a Group of Ministers will visit the states and will consider further help after its report.
