New Delhi : Corona virus has started spreading once again in the capital Delhi. New cases of corona virus have crossed 100 in Delhi on Sunday. This is the first time after nearly six months that the number of new cases has crossed 100. In the capital Delhi, 107 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours.

One patient has also died due to infection. With the increase in corona virus cases, the positivity rate in the state has gone up to 0.17 percent. This is the first time since June 27 in the state that more than 100 cases of corona virus have been reported in the capital. Amid rising cases of Omicron in the national capital, the Delhi government has directed three private hospitals to set up isolation for patients coming from at-risk countries.

The authorities had on December 1 directed Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, Saket to set up separate units for COVID positive international passengers. There has also been an increase in the cases of Omicron, a new variant of the corona virus in the capital Delhi. The number of cases of the Omicron variant has reached 22 in the capital.

On Saturday, 86 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Delhi, which was the highest number in a day in more than five months. With this, the infection rate was 0.13 percent.
