Delhi Budget 2023: There was a lot of debate regarding Delhi's budget, after which Delhi government's Finance Minister Kailash Gehlot will present the budget in the assembly at 11 am today. Earlier this budget was to be presented on Tuesday. The budget had to be stopped at the last moment due to the objections raised by the Union Home Ministry and the Lieutenant Governor. The Delhi government had sent answers to all the questions asked on Monday night itself. The Union Home Ministry approved Delhi's budget on Tuesday.

Kailash Gehlot had tweeted the information

Kailash Gehlot tweeted about this and wrote, "I will present the budget of @ArvindKejriwal government for the financial year 2023-24 and this will be my first budget as the Finance Minister of Delhi." This budget is geared towards serving the best interest of the citizens and taking our city to newer heights. Tomorrow will be remembered as a historic day for the development of Delhi.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Home Ministry cleared the Delhi government's budget, a day after saying it has asked the Arvind Kejriwal government to resubmit it on clarifications regarding allocation of funds for infrastructure and advertisements. Said.

Kejriwal raised questions on the practice of sending the budget to the Center for approval

Explain that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had questioned the practice of sending the budget to the Center for approval and said that the budget has been approved without any changes. Kejriwal wrote a letter to PM Modi

On Tuesday itself, Kejriwal had also written a letter to the Prime Minister amidst the tussle with the Center regarding the budget to be presented today. In his letter to PM Modi, he had said, "For the first time in the country's 75-year history, the budget of a state has been stopped." Why are you angry with us Delhiites? Please don't stop Delhi's budget. The people of Delhi are requesting you with folded hands to pass our budget.
