Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, the Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham, made an unexpected visit to Vrindavan on Tuesday, where he met Premanand Maharaj at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram. Premanand Maharaj has been unwell recently, suffering from a kidney ailment that requires dialysis five days a week, limiting his interactions with devotees. Shastri's visit was a personal one, not for any public event, aimed solely at seeking Maharaj's blessings and inquiring about his health. Upon arriving at the ashram, Dhirendra Shastri greeted the crowd and then prostrated himself before Premanand Maharaj as a mark of deep respect, while he enquired about Maharaj's well-being and engaged in a spiritual conversation with him.Highlights of Their Conversation
During their interaction, Dhirendra Shastri sought blessings from Premanand Maharaj, stating that he had been. "stuck in the web of Maya" in Mumbai and was now fortunate to have his darshan through divine grace. Premanand Maharaj responded by saying that the associates of God go to liberate beings from the web of Maya. He advised Shastri to "roar the name of God" wherever he goes, as it leads to liberation from worldly illusions. On top of that, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri extended an invitation to Premanand Maharaj for his 'Sanatan Ekta Padayatra,' a spiritual journey from Delhi to Vrindavan, which is scheduled to continue until November 16, while concluding their discussion, Shastri expressed his hope for the continued grace of great personalities like Maharaj. Due to Premanand Maharaj's health condition, his nightly 'padayatra' (foot pilgrimage) has been temporarily suspended, disappointing many of his devotees.
