Former Union Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who recently quit Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has passed away at the age of 74. He was admitted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. Following Singh's resignation, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav wrote to him and said, "Get well soon and we will talk. You are not going anywhere, understand this."

New Delhi: RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh passed away on Sunday after developing post-Covid-19 complications.

A former Union minister whose recent resignation from the RJD founded and headed by Lalu Prasad left political waters in Bihar astir, was critically ill and put on a ventilator on Friday.

Singh, who has been admitted at AIIMS, Delhi for about a week after developing post-Covid complications, resigned from the primary membership of the party and followed it up with an open letter, a day later, addressed to Prasads arch rival and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, triggering speculations about his future moves.
