BHARAT BANDH / Farmers of India closed for 12 hours today, know where and how

BHARAT BANDH: Some farmer organizations opposing the three agricultural laws have called Bharat Bandh on Friday, March 26. Rail and road transport services are likely to be affected during this period. Apart from this, markets in some parts of the country may remain closed on Friday. Farmers' organizations have kept the bandh separate in the electoral states and union territory of Puducherry. According to the United Kisan Morcha, the nationwide bandh will begin at 6 am and will continue till 6 pm on 26 March.

Railroads will be blocked, markets will also be closed

Senior farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal said that road and rail transport will be blocked. They have claimed that the markets will also remain closed. He has called for a shutdown in the national capital Delhi. Rajewal said that trade unions, and other organizations in organized and unorganized sectors, have extended their support to the 'Bharat Bandh' of farmer organizations on 26 March. Talking to news agency PTI, he said, "Farmers will block rail tracks at various places. Markets and transport services will be closed.
