ENG vs WI | England defeated the current world champion West Indies by 6 wickets in a one-sided match. Playing first after losing the toss, West Indies disappointed the fans a lot and got all out on the score of 55. Not a single player could show the courage to stand on the wicket for a team adorned with veterans. Four wickets came in the account of Adil Rashid for England.

While chasing the target, England also lost four wickets at the score of 39. Jason Roy (11), Jonny Bairstow (9), Moeen Ali (3) and Liam Livingston (1) returned to the pavilion after being dismissed for the score. Akil Hossein was successful in taking two wickets for West Indies. In the team's victory, Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 24 off 22 balls and Captain Morgan 7 not out.

West Indies were all out on the score of 55. This was the lowest score made by any Test playing nation in the T20 World Cup. Earlier, New Zealand scored 60 runs against Sri Lanka in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
