In Jammu and Kashmir, fresh snowfall and rainfall occurred on Saturday. However, the Met department has forecasted improvement from Sunday onwards. Weather will continue to be the same for the next 24 hours. Delhi also witnessed drizzling. Showers have brought down the temperature in the national capital region. Snowfall occurred in Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam with minimum temperature touching 0.6 degree Celsius.

In Jammu and Kashmir, fresh snowfall and rainfall occurred on Saturday. However, the Met department has forecasted improvement from Sunday onwards.

The weather will continue to be the same for the next 24 hours -- rain in the plains and light snowfall in the higher reaches, a Met official said, reported IANS.

Snowfall occurred in Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam with minimum temperature touching 0.6 degree Celsius, minus 5 and 0.2, respectively.  In Ladakh, Leh recorded minus 11.3, Kargil minus 13 and Drass minus 9.9. Jammu city was at 11.8, Katra town 9.7, Batote 1.5, Bannihal 0.4 and Bhaderwah recorded 2.2 degrees Celsius, reported the news agency.

Meanwhile, Delhi also witnessed drizzling. Showers have brought down the temperature in the national capital region.
