On behalf of the government, the Waqf Board has also been instructed to record the details of all marriages online. The Qazis are being asked to identify whether the bride and groom are adults or not. If the bride and groom are adults, then only teach Nikah.

The government has taken this decision after receiving complaints about minor girls getting married to Arab men. To ensure the prevention of child marriage by the government, the Aadhaar card of the bride and groom has been made mandatory for marriage and marriage has been banned on the basis of any other identity card. Is. In particular, the Qazis have been instructed to identify whether the bride and groom are majors or not on the basis of Aadhaar card.

Muslim girls have been directed to submit the details of marriage to the Waqf Board immediately after Nikah, failing which legal action can be taken against the Qazis and other people involved. Not only this, the government has also made a change regarding the appointment of Qazis. Earlier, the appointment of Qazis was done by the Minority Welfare Department, but now a slight change has been made in it. Now the District Collector will review the application and submit his recommendation to the department.

Orders have also been issued by the government to make marriage certificates available online. Till now all the matters of marriage are done in writing. If a marriage takes place anywhere in the state, then the Haj House of Hyderabad has to be contacted to get its certificate. However, now when marriage certificates will be available online, the bride and groom will also be benefited.

Waqf Board Chairman Muhammad Masihullah Khan has said that now Telangana is the only state in the country where all the details of Muslim marriage will be registered online. Apart from the previous marriages, the details of all the present marriages will be with the Waqf Board. Legal experts say that this will go a long way in preventing forgery.
