Lakshmi's fault was that she had a daughter while her godmother gave birth to a son. Due to this her in-laws started taunting her.

On the night of March 16, he was beaten up and fired in the hands and feet after heating the bar. There was a serious wound on the leg. Threatened to tell anyone. At Dhulendi, the matter reached the Barotha police. After this, the police took the statement of complainant Lakshmi and on her complaint registered a case against the accused husband Bablu Jhala, father-in-law Bheru Jhala, mother-in-law Manju Jhala, brother-in-law Ankit Jhala, Devrani Kajal Jhala under various sections.

Police station in-charge Shailendra Singh Mukati said that the investigation of the case has been entrusted to the female SI. A case is being registered against the accused and search is on for them. The victim has suffered a serious wound in her leg due to the bars, there are injury marks at other places as well.
