Delhi Rainfall / Heavy rain in Delhi-NCR, trees broken due to storm, traffic jam at many places

Delhi Rainfall: Rain with strong winds has knocked in Delhi-NCR on Monday evening. The Meteorological Department had already predicted thunderstorms in Delhi today. Due to strong winds and rain, trees were broken at many places in Lutyen Delhi. This has led to traffic jams in many areas. Apart from the capital Delhi, the weather patterns have changed in their surrounding areas like Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida etc. Earlier on Sunday evening also, rain and thunderstorms were seen in many areas of Delhi-NCR.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature touched 40 degrees Celsius. However, the maximum temperature is likely to rise by up to two degrees Celsius on Tuesday. At the same time, from June 1 to June 5, there is a possibility of strong thunderstorms in the capital.

Let us inform that the Meteorological Department has predicted that monsoon may enter Delhi by June 25. This time monsoon has already reached Kerala three days back. At the same time, for the next few days, there may be dust storm in many states including Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Apart from this, light rain has also been predicted in UP, Uttarakhand for two days.


After the scorching heat, getting relief for a few days

This time it is very hot in Delhi. This time the maximum temperature in the capital had crossed 49 degree Celsius, due to which people had to face a lot of problems. During this, there was a severe heatwave condition for several days. However, for the last few days, the temperature in the capital has come down and the mercury has dropped by five to seven degrees Celsius.
