SRH vs PBKS: In the first match of the double header held today in IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 4 wickets. With this, the team has come second in the points table with 17 points. Punjab won the toss and decided to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Punjab Kings scored 214 runs in the first innings losing 5 wickets. In response, Hyderabad chased the target in 19.1 overs after losing 6 wickets.

Abhishek Sharma scored a half-century for Hyderabad. He played an inning of 66 runs in 28 balls. Apart from him, Heinrich Klaasen also scored 42 runs in 25 balls. Whereas, T Natarajan took 2 wickets in bowling.

Punjab scored 214 runs

Punjab has given a target of 215 runs to Hyderabad. After winning the toss and batting first, Punjab scored 214 runs after losing five wickets in 20 overs. Prabhsimran Singh played an inning of 71 runs in 45 balls with the help of seven fours and four sixes. At the same time, Atharva Tayde and Riley Rousseau missed half-centuries. Atharva was out after scoring 46 runs in 27 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes and Rousseau was out after scoring 49 runs in 24 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes. Acting captain Jitesh Sharma remained unbeaten on 32 runs in 15 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. Punjab scored 19 runs in the 20th over. T Natarajan took maximum two wickets for Hyderabad. At the same time, Pat Cummins and Vijaykant Vyaskanth got one wicket each.
