Telangana Elections: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a big attack on Asaduddin Owaisi's brother Akbaruddin Owaisi regarding the case of threatening a police inspector in Hyderabad. CM Sarma has said that if the same thing had happened in Assam, the matter would have been settled in five minutes. Let us tell you that Akbaruddin Owaisi had openly threatened a police inspector during an election rally on Tuesday.

A case was registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi regarding this matter on Wednesday. When the Chief Minister of Assam was asked about this entire matter, he said that if this matter had happened in Assam, it would have been settled within five minutes. Along with this, Assam CM Sarma demanded the Election Commission to cancel the candidature of Akbaruddin Owaisi.

What did CM Himanta say?

On Akbaruddin Owaisi threatening a police officer during his public rally, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that this is a very sad incident. If such a thing had happened in Assam, the police would have settled the matter immediately but due to appeasement politics here both the police and the party did not say anything. Today both Congress and BRS are silent. Himanta also demanded the Election Commission to cancel Owaisi's candidature.

Akbaruddin accused DCP of lying

Earlier, South East Zone DCP Rohit Raju said that a case has been registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi under section 353 of IPC and other sections. After the case was registered, Akbaruddin Owaisi accused the DCP and the police of lying. Akbaruddin Owaisi said that DCP and police are lying.

I am not wrong, I have footage- Akbaruddin Owaisi

Owaisi said that first of all, I have the video footage of the police inspector coming on the stage. If I was giving a speech after 10 pm, the police could register a case against me. But disrupting a public meeting and saying that time is up is wrong. The police should not do this.

This is the whole matter

Actually, the whole matter is that AIMIM candidate Akbaruddin Owaisi was addressing an election meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday night. During this, a police inspector, keeping in mind the code of conduct, signaled him to end his speech, on which he got angry and threatened the inspector. He said that there are still five minutes left, you should get down from here. No one can stop me from speaking. You go away otherwise you will be chased away from here on one signal from me.

Police registered a case

Police have registered a case under IPC section 353 (obstructing official duties) and other relevant sections after AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi threatened a police officer during a public rally. At the same time, on the whole matter, Hyderabad Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya has said that the investigation of this matter is going on, if it is our mistake then we will be the first to apologize.
