India Registered A Hat-trick Of Victories, Thrashing Pakistan By 61 Runs

India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs. The thrilling T20 World Cup 2026 match was played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday. Pakistan won the toss and invited India to bat first. Ishan Kishan's blistering half-century helped India post 175 for seven in 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan managed only 114 for 10 in 18 overs. This is India's third consecutive victory in the current tournament. With this win, the Suryakumar Yadav-led team topped the Group A points table and advanced to the Super 8.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl. The captains of both teams did not shake hands during the toss. Indian players had previously refrained from shaking hands with Pakistani players during last year's Asia Cup. This decision was made in protest of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
