India won 8 gold medals in men's hockey

India has won the most medals in the Olympics in men's hockey. The team won gold medals in the 1928, 1932, 1936, 1948, 1952, 1956, 1964 and 1980 Olympics. Apart from this, he won silver in 1960 and bronze medal in 1968 and 1972. After the 1980 Moscow Olympics, India has not won any medal in hockey.
