Udaipur | An IndiGo flight on its way to Udaipur had to return to Delhi airport after one of its engines vibrated. A day earlier, a Nashik-bound SpiceJet flight experienced an "autopilot" problem soon after takeoff, leading to an emergency landing at the Delhi airport.

A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that the plane has landed. DGCA will investigate the incident. This is the second such incident on Thursday when an aircraft returned to Delhi airport due to a technical snag.

The A320neo aircraft of IndiGo, which was going from Delhi to Udaipur, returned after a second engine tremor during the flight, the official said. According to the official, the aircraft landed safely and has been grounded. DGCA will conduct a detailed inquiry into the incident.

Earlier in the day, a SpiceJet plane had left for Nashik from Delhi. It came back midway due to a problem with 'autopilot'. The DGCA will also investigate the incident.
