Israel-Iran War: The ever-increasing tension between Israel and Iran took a new turn on Thursday night when the Israeli Air Force launched a fierce attack on Iran's capital Tehran. In this well-planned attack, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) used more than 60 fighter jets to wreak havoc on Iran's military and nuclear infrastructure.

Tehran shaken by 120 destructive bombs

The Israeli Air Force informed through an official Twitter (formerly Twitter) post that on Thursday night its fighter jets dropped about 120 highly destructive bombs on dozens of military bases in Tehran. The main objective of these attacks was to completely destroy Iran's missile manufacturing units, their engine plants and raw material storage sites.

Defense Ministry and nuclear bases also targeted

According to the IDF, Iran's Defense Ministry and a major nuclear industrial center were specifically targeted in this operation. Apart from this, the Spand headquarters in Tehran was also demolished, which was a major center for research and development of advanced weapons and military technologies.

Four Iranian drones shot down mid-air

During this attack, Israel not only destroyed ground targets but also air threats. The Israeli Air Force shot down four unmanned drones (UAVs) launched by Iran during flight.

Iranian radar and missile system destroyed

Israeli planes also attacked Iranian radar and missile systems located in Tehran and Isfahan. The purpose of these attacks was to completely foil the system that intercepts Israeli planes. The video released after the attack confirms the destruction of Iranian radar sites.

New height of regional tension

This attack has made it clear that the proxy war between Israel and Iran has now moved towards open confrontation. While on the one hand Israel has described it as an action to self-defense and eliminate future threats, there has been no official response from Iran so far. But concerns have started to deepen about the regional and global effects of this attack.
