Israel-Iran War / Iran fired missiles after ceasefire, Israel got angry, sounds of sirens were heard

Two and a half hours after the ceasefire came into effect, Iran fired missiles at Israel, causing sirens to ring throughout northern Israel. Israel called it a violation and ordered retaliation. This ceasefire, brought about by Donald Trump's mediation efforts, now seems to be causing new tensions.

Israel-Iran War: On Tuesday, Iran launched missile attacks on Israel just two and a half hours after the ceasefire agreement proposed by US President Donald Trump came into effect. The attack caused sirens to ring in northern Israel. Violations of the ceasefire accepted by both countries have further escalated regional tensions.

Iran missile attack

Iran fired missiles towards Israel less than three hours after the ceasefire came into effect. These attacks activated alert sirens in northern Israel. The attack came soon after the agreement to end the 12-day war, which was accepted by both countries.

Israel's response

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz called Iran's attacks a clear violation of the ceasefire and directed the Israeli army to give a strong response. Katz said, "Iran has completely violated the ceasefire. Our army has been asked to launch targeted attacks on Iran's paramilitary forces and government installations."

Along with this, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich made a strong statement, saying, "Tehran will tremble with our retaliatory strikes." Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israel had eliminated Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile threats.

Ceasefire proposal

US President Donald Trump had proposed a ceasefire to end the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, which was accepted by both countries. The war began when Israel launched attacks to destroy Iran's nuclear programs, and the US attacked three nuclear centers in Iran. Iran launched missile attacks in response.

Israel's earlier announcement

According to Israeli media reports, Israel had announced to test the ceasefire by 7 pm local time. During this time, Israel had decided not to carry out any military operation in Iran and said to keep an eye on Tehran's response. However, Iran's attacks dashed this plan.
