Muzaffarnagar: In today's digital age, hand written newspaper may seem old to us, but it is relevant even today in a corner of Muzaffarnagar district. Dinesh, the owner and editor of Vidya Darshan newspaper, has neither a printing press, no employee nor a typewriter. He himself writes and draws on art paper sheets. After writing the newspaper, he gets it photocopied and then takes them to different areas of the city and pastes them.Newspaper Name Vidya DarshanDinesh is in his late fifties. He says, “I have been writing my own newspaper for the last 17 years. It takes me about three hours to write the news. Dinesh, a resident of Gandhi Nagar Colony, has an old bicycle. They don't even have clothes to change every day. He says, “People read my newspaper because I highlight local issues and events. Since I don't earn anything from newspapers, I make a living by selling ice cream in the evening.After writing the newspaper, get photocopies doneDinesh finds happiness when he sees people wandering around his newspaper to read. For Dinesh, journalism is his passion. He said, 'I don't make a single penny from journalism. I have never received any advertisement or government support, but my work gives me a lot of satisfaction.Newspapers are pasted in different areas of the cityApart from this, Dinesh also said that he freely expressed his opinion in his newspaper which forced people to introspect. He said, 'I rarely write on politics. I like to write on events of social relevance. Anyone who reads my newspaper knows exactly what is happening in the district.
