Delhi Liquor Scam / Kejriwal's personal secretary Vibhav Kumar removed by LG, inquiry has been done in this scam

Delhi Liquor Scam: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has removed Vibhav Kumar, private secretary of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Vibhav is under the investigation of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). On April 8, ED had interrogated Vibhav for hours in the money laundering case related to liquor scam. Earlier, in the Delhi Jal Board scam also, ED had raided Vibhav's house in the first week of February.

Let us tell you that the investigating agency had interrogated Vibhav Kumar for about 4 hours. For the second time, ED had interrogated Vibhav Kumar. Earlier last year too, the investigating agency had sent summons to Kejriwal's personal secretary and conducted an inquiry. Let us tell you that on April 8, the investigating agency (ED) along with Vibhav, Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak was also interrogated.

Vibhav Kumar's services terminated from April 10

Let us tell you that the Vigilance Directorate has terminated the services of Vibhav Kumar with effect from April 10. The Directorate has not considered the appointment of Vibhav Kumar right. In the order issued by the Directorate, it has been said that the service of Vibhav Kumar has been terminated with immediate effect. It was said that the procedure and rules for his appointment were not followed properly and hence his appointment is illegal and invalid.

Vibhav Kumar mentioned in ED chargesheet

The order also cites a 2007 legal case pending against Vibhav Kumar. Actually, this was a case of attack on a government employee and creating obstruction in his work. Vibhav Kumar is also mentioned in the ED charge sheet. Vibhav changed the IMEI of his mobile number four times between September 2021-July 2022. Let us tell you that Vibhav Kumar had met the Aam Aadmi Party leader in Tihar Jail on Tuesday.

What is the whole matter regarding Vibhav?

Kejriwal's personal secretary Vibhav Kumar has been removed from his post on the basis that he had an altercation with a government employee in Noida in 2007. This is the case. The matter progressed further when a charge sheet was filed against Vibhav in this case. The High Court also did not give any relief to Vibhav in this entire matter.

But the U-turn in the matter came when Vibhav became the personal secretary of Arvind Kejriwal. Actually, before joining, one has to disclose all one's records to the government. It has been claimed behind the removal of Vibhav that Vibhav hid this important information from the government that there was a criminal case behind him and on the basis of this, Kejriwal's personal secretary has been removed from the post.

Arvind Kejriwal behind bars

Let us tell you that ED had arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on March 21 in the money laundering case related to Delhi liquor scam. Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have also been arrested in this case. However, Sanjay Singh had recently got conditional bail from the Supreme Court. He is currently out of jail. Sisodia is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
