Arvind Kejriwal Singapore visit: After the ongoing political turmoil on the visit of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to Singapore, Lt Governor VK Saxena has finally rejected his application. It is clear that now Kejriwal will not be able to travel to Singapore as his file has been rejected. The Chief Minister of Delhi is to attend a summit in Singapore and he alleges that the central government is obstructing its approval. For this, Kejriwal had also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose decision to not approve the visit was called wrong.

Kejriwal was invited by the Singapore government to participate in the 'World Cities Summit' event, where he was to brief global leaders about the 'Delhi model' in August. Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena rejected the proposal of the Delhi Chief Minister to visit Singapore, saying that it was not right for the Chief Minister to attend the conference.
