Vice Presidential Election: The political ground is ready for the Vice Presidential election of India. The 'India' alliance on Tuesday announced the name of former Supreme Court judge B. Sudarshan Reddy as its candidate. This decision was taken in an important meeting held at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, in which the leaders of the alliance united and decided to field a joint candidate. On the other hand, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has declared Maharashtra Governor and senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader CP Radhakrishnan as its candidate. - 1988-1990: Worked as government lawyer in Andhra Pradesh High Court.
- 1990: Additional standing counsel for the Central government.
- 1995: Appointed permanent judge in Andhra Pradesh High Court.
- 2005: Promoted as Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.
- 2007-2011: Worked as judge of the Supreme Court of India, where he contributed to several landmark judgments.
