Early life and association with RSS

CP Radhakrishnan was born in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu. At the age of just 17, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which shaped his ideological and political life. Beginning of political journey

In 2014, he secured second place by securing more than 3.89 lakh votes, which was a major achievement for the BJP in a challenging state like Tamil Nadu.

He was a national executive member of the party and served as the chairman of the Coir Board under the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises from 2016 to 2020. Radhakrishnan was appointed the Governor of Jharkhand in 2023. In this role, he paid special attention to the empowerment and social inclusion of tribal communities.
