PM Modi News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Northeast on Saturday 9 March. During this, he inaugurated projects worth Rs 55,600 crore, which also includes the important Sela Tunnel. The PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh during an event in Itanagar.

Sela Tunnel, built at a cost of about Rs 825 crore, will pass through Sela Pass on Balipara-Charidwar-Tawang Road in Arunachal Pradesh. This tunnel will provide all-weather connectivity to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. In the year 2019, PM had laid the foundation of this project. The PM inaugurated the Sela Tunnel by flagging off a bus of Arunachal Pradesh State Transport. It is being told that PM Modi started development projects worth more than Rs 41,000 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.

The foundation stone of Sela Tunnel was laid in 1019.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Dibang Hydroelectric Project in Lower Dibang Valley district, which will be built at a cost of Rs 31,875 crore. Which will be the biggest dam of the country. The PM also laid the foundation of many road construction, environment and tourism projects as well as projects to improve schools. Addressing the program in Itanagar, PM Modi said that in 2019 he got the opportunity to lay the foundation stone of Sela Tunnel, and today it has been inaugurated. The PM said that in 2019 itself, he had also laid the foundation stone of Doni Polo Airport. Today these airports are providing services.

'Every person of Arunachal is Modi's family'

During this, PM Modi also targeted the India alliance of opposition parties. He said that on one hand he is working for building a developed India and for a better future for the youth, while on the other hand the dynastic leaders of the India Alliance are attacking him. PM said that opposition leaders are asking who is Modi's family. Listen with open ears, every person of Arunachal is Modi's family. Everyone living here is saying that they are Modi's family. The PM said that these family members only see the benefit of their own family.

He said that while BJP is working for the development of the country, everyone knows what work Congress and India Alliance is doing. Accusing the Congress of scam, the PM said that when modern infrastructure should have been built on the country's borders, the Congress government was busy in scams and playing with the country's security.

‘Modi’s guarantee is visible in Arunachal’

Praising the BJP government, the PM said that what Modi's guarantee is is clearly visible in Arunachal. He said that the people of the entire state are seeing how Modi's guarantee is working. The PM said that today the Northeast is going to become a strong link in India's trade, tourism and other relations with South Asia and East Asia.

‘People got permanent houses and water facilities’

PM said that 35 thousand poor families of Arunachal Pradesh have got their own permanent houses. Thousands of families have got tap water connections. The PM said that today many projects related to promoting connectivity in the North-East have been inaugurated. Further, the PM said that his government had especially started 'Mission Palm Oil' keeping the North-East in mind. Under this mission, the first oil mill has been inaugurated today. Which will not only make India self-reliant in the matter of edible oil but will also increase the income of the farmers here.

The PM said that today projects worth more than Rs 55,000 crore have been inaugurated or the foundation stone laid simultaneously in the state. The national celebration of India from a developed state to a developed one is continuing at a fast pace across the country. PM said that our vision for the development of the North-East has been that of Ashtalakshmi. He said that the amount of investment made in the last five years on the development of the North-East is almost 4 times more than the work done by the Congress government.
