Rajasthan | A shocking incident has come to the fore in the bordering Barmer district of Rajasthan. Here a man fell in love with his mother-in-law. The woman also started loving the son-in-law and now both of them have committed suicide by hanging together on a tree. In the rural police station of Barmer, the incident of hanging on a tree with two people was received late on Monday night. The deceased have been identified as Hotaram Bhil (25) resident of Kerawa and Daria (38) resident of Khartia. Police said that the incident happened late on Monday night.

Police said that Hotaram was married to Geeta (20), daughter of Nemaram, a resident of Khartia, 1 year ago. Police said that two-three days ago, Hotaram had come to his in-laws' house along with his wife Geeta.

Police said that while staying at the in-laws' house, Hotaram and his mother-in-law Daria ran away from the house without informing anyone on Monday. He committed suicide by hanging himself from a Khejri tree on Barmer Munabao road, 30 km from the village. Police said that both of them hanged the noose with the same cloth.

Rural police officer Parvat Singh said that on receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and the bodies of the dead have been recovered, which have been kept in the mortuary of the government hospital. The SHO said that prima facie the matter of love affair is coming to the fore in the investigation of the case, but the detailed information about the reasons of the incident will come to the fore only after the investigation of the case.
