Madan Rathore Alleges Foreign Funding To Oust Dharmendra Pradhan, Slams Rahul Gandhi

The political landscape in Rajasthan witnessed a sharp escalation on Wednesday, 22 July, as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a massive state-wide protest in Jaipur. The demonstration was directed against Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, following his sit-in protest outside the Prime Minister's residence in New Delhi. BJP State President Madan Rathore led the march from the BJP state headquarters toward the Congress state office, with participants raising slogans against the Congress leadership and their recent political maneuvers.

Allegations of Foreign Funding and Conspiracy

Addressing the gathering, Madan Rathore made startling claims regarding the motivations behind the opposition's protests. He alleged that a significant amount of funding has been received from foreign sources specifically to orchestrate the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Rathore stated that investigations are currently underway to identify the origins and the total amount of these funds, asserting that the truth would soon be made public. He argued that the opposition is targeting Pradhan because of the transformative changes he's bringing to the national education system.

Stone-Pelters and Anti-National Slogans

In a scathing attack, Rathore described the movement organized under the pretext of paper leak issues as a pre-planned political conspiracy. He alleged that the Congress party hired stone-pelters from Kashmir and Bihar to create unrest and disrupt the proceedings of the Parliament. " Rathore emphasized the necessity of bringing these facts before the public to expose what he termed as a threat to national integrity.

Defense of Educational Reforms

Madan Rathore lauded the work of Dharmendra Pradhan, noting that since becoming the Education Minister, he has focused on reforming the education system to reflect Indian values, while he pointed out that previously, the curriculum emphasized "Akbar the Great," but under Pradhan's leadership, the New Education Policy has given due place to Indian culture, history, and local heroes. He mentioned that the lives of great personalities such as Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Tejaji Maharaj, Guru Govind Singh, and Devnarayan are now being taught. According to Rathore, the opposition fears that these changes will foster cultural nationalism, which is why they're demanding Pradhan's resignation.

Condemnation of Misbehavior and Counter-Attack on Gehlot

The BJP State President also condemned the alleged misbehavior and obscenity directed toward female media personnel during the opposition's protests, stating that such actions are unacceptable in a civilized society. Turning his focus to the previous Congress government in Rajasthan, Rathore questioned the moral authority of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. He pointed out that during Gehlot's tenure, there were 17 instances of paper leaks, including 2 university paper leaks, totaling 19 incidents. Rathore asked why Gehlot didn't resign at that time, accusing the Congress of using students' issues for political gain while ignoring their own failures.

Rathore concluded by stating that the BJP believes in resolution through dialogue and discussion, whereas the opposition is attempting to obstruct democratic institutions. He described Rahul Gandhi's protest at the PM's residence as an act that violates parliamentary traditions and hurts the dignity of democracy.
