During this but a big accident happened. 6 people died due to sudden lightning near the watch tower. At the same time, about 11 people have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to the information, people were busy taking selfie near the watch tower when this accident happened. It is being told that people had gone to visit Mawtha when the weather was pleasant. At the same time, some people are still reported to be trapped near the watch tower. After lightning struck this watch tower, built at a height of about 2 thousand feet, two youths escaped and somehow reached the bottom and informed the people about the accident. After which the injured were brought down with the help of local people and police and immediately rushed to Sawaiman Singh Hospital. To know the condition of the injured, the Medical and Health Minister also reached the hospital and took stock of all the arrangements. While Chief Whip Dr. Mahesh Joshi has also reached the hospital. Instructions have been given for proper free treatment to the injured.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed the officers to provide all kinds of assistance to the injured and the victims' families at the earliest. Along with this, an assistance of Rs 5 lakh each was also announced to the deceased dependents. In this, an assistance of Rs 4 lakh will be given from the Disaster Management Fund and Rs 1 lakh from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. At the same time, financial assistance of 50-50 thousand rupees was also announced to the injured.

The atmosphere of chaos after the accident

After the lightning struck, the bushes and trees in the surrounding area caught fire. At the same time, there was panic among the people after seeing the bodies of the injured and dead in large numbers. Immediately on the information of the accident, the police reached the spot and with the help of local people, the injured were taken to Sawaiman Singh Hospital. Along with this, the bodies were also sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
