Lok Sabha Election: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge can be the PM face from the INDIA alliance united to counter the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal made this proposal in the fourth meeting of the alliance held in Delhi. However, Kharge has said on this that first he will win the elections and then we will see. In this meeting held at Ashoka Hotel in Delhi on Tuesday, this matter was discussed among the senior leaders of 28 parties. Apart from this, many issues including EVM, seat sharing were raised.

After not performing as per expectations in the assembly elections held in five states in the country, Congress tried to woo the opposition parties in the fourth meeting of the India Alliance. Many issues including sheet sharing, EVM were discussed in the meeting. However, the most important proposal from the alliance was regarding PM face. Inside sources claim that West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal have proposed to make Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge the PM face on behalf of the alliance. However, Kharge has said that first we have to win, after that the decision on PM face will be taken.

Mallikarjun Kharge said that we will have to fight to save democracy. We will fight against the government regarding the 151 MPs who have been suspended by the Modi government. If PM Modi and Shah are thinking that no one will be able to fight, then they are mistaken. He expressed his gratitude to the leaders of all 28 parties attending the meeting. He said that everyone united against the dictatorship of the government.

The alliance will hold 8 to 10 meetings across the country.
