Delhi Liquor Scam: Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has not got relief in the money laundering case related to Delhi Liquor Scam. Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia till May 31. Manish Sisodia appeared in the court from jail through video conferencing. The next hearing of the case will be held on May 31 in Rouse Avenue Court. The court asked the accused to tell in writing how much time would be taken to examine the non-essential documents.

Sisodia was arrested on 26 February last year

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, arrested in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam, is serving his sentence in Tihar Jail. Let us tell you that Manish Sisodia was arrested last year on 26 February 2023 and since then he has not got any relief. Rouse Avenue Court had earlier extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia several times.

Voting is on 25th May in Delhi

Manish Sisodia had sought bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. But voting for five phases of Lok Sabha elections has ended and voting will take place on all seven seats in Delhi on May 25. In such a situation, Sisodia has filed an application in the court regarding the election campaign.
