New Delhi. President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu (Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) greeted the countrymen on Eid-ul-Adha (Eid al-Adha 2021). Top leaders also appealed to celebrate the festival by following the Kovid protocol. According to a tweet made by Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Kovind said- 'Eid Mubarak to all countrymen.' The President said- 'Eid-Uz-Zuha is a festival to pay respect to the spirit of love, sacrifice and sacrifice and to work together for unity and brotherhood in an inclusive society. Let us take a pledge to work for the welfare of every section of the society by adopting preventive measures against COVID-19.

Simultaneously, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday greeted people on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha and urged them to celebrate the festival keeping in mind the appropriate behavior of COVID-19. In his message, Naidu said that Eid-ul-Azha is a festival of sacrifice and it is an example of devotion to God. He said, “In our country, the festival is an opportunity for families and communities to come together and celebrate. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we will have to be content with this year's celebrations in a simple manner.

The Vice President urged the people to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha by taking utmost care and adhering to the COVID-19 safety norms. He said, 'May this Eid-ul-Azha bring peace, harmony and happiness in our lives.'

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his best wishes to the countrymen. PM wrote- 'Eid Mubarak! Warm wishes on Eid-ul-Azha. May this day carry forward the spirit of collective sympathy, harmony and inclusion in service. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that keeping in mind the Corona protocol, today I offered Namaz at my residence on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and prayed for good health and well being of the people of the country and humanity of the whole world. '

Naqvi said that only ample facilities-resources of the government and caution and restraint of the society can free the country from the havoc of Corona. The result of the resolve of the government-society is that today India is coming out of the Corona disaster firmly.

 Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also wished Bakrid. Rahul wrote- 'Happy Eid-ul-Azha to all of you!' Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday extended greetings on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha. Eid-ul-Azha is also known as Bakrid.

Please tell that this year there was no congregational prayer of Bakrid. The Imam of Jama Masjid said, 'Keeping in mind the Kovid guidelines, we have canceled the normal prayer timings. Except a few locals, no one else came. Namaz was offered here in the early morning to avoid the crowd.

Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari has also appealed to the people to follow the rules. He said that we should follow the guidelines for the safety of ourselves and our families in view of the third wave of Kovid. We had decided to allow limited number of people to offer Namaz in Jama Masjid. 15-20 people offered namaz.
